Up to now, Hanoi Zoo is the first business of Transportation and Urban Public Work Service with more than 300 employees. it is divided in 6 different departments, 8 different branches and one directly depended Breeding Centre.

Hanoi Zoological has been awarded a third prize medal for distinguish services and a third prize labour medal for its 28 years building and development.

From 1996 to 2004, we said welcome to more than 1,5 million visitors every year and it ranges first in term of numbers of visitors of all the public entertainment organisations in Hanoi. Although Thu Le park is seen as a zoo it is also a usual park with a botanical garden. A perfect place to escape from the noisy centre of Hanoi.
